What the care plan covers

A website needs someone to look after its hosting and routine upkeep after launch. Our optional plan provides that ongoing arrangement for $49 per month. We agree the support scope before you sign up.

The details depend on how your website is built. A straightforward static site and a site using a content management system have different maintenance needs. We'll explain the arrangement for your site.

What is charged separately?

Domain renewals and paid email licences are separate costs. Larger content changes, new pages, design work and extra features also need their own scope and quote.

Help setting up business email does not mean a paid mailbox licence is included. Let us know which provider you use and how many mailboxes you need so the costs are clear.

Agree support before you need it

Ask how to report a problem and what work counts as routine support before choosing a care plan. Also ask what happens if you want to make a larger change or move the website later.

Our plan is not a promise of unlimited changes or round-the-clock support. The agreed scope should say what is covered and how extra work is handled. You can use our care and ownership checklist when discussing those details.

Keep your business access organised

Keep a record of your domain registrar, hosting arrangement and business email provider. Make sure you know who controls each account and how account recovery works. Avoid leaving essential access tied to a former employee's personal inbox.

Passwords should be shared through a suitable secure method, not included in an enquiry form. At the first conversation we only need to know which services you use.

Is the monthly plan compulsory?

No. It is optional. We will agree hosting and handover responsibilities with you before launch.

Can you look after a website built by someone else?

Send us the website address and tell us about the current setup. We need to check the platform and access before confirming what support we can provide or whether this plan fits.

Does care include new pages?

Larger content or design changes are separately scoped and quoted. Tell us what you need so we can distinguish routine upkeep from a new piece of work.
